    b. 63% - steam and electric
    c. 57% - steam and electric
    d. 77% - irrigation and agriculture
    e. 55% - mining
    f. 57% - irrigation and agriculture

2. The eastern part of the U.S. is densely populated in the cities while in the west people live in cities as well as lots of farms. Most factories are located in the eastern part while farms and agricultural living situations are located in the west. However, in the southeast there are also a lot of farms. In the eastern half of the U.S. there is lots of snow and rain so that could make farming easier and more difficult depending on the amount of snow and rain. In the west, there is a pretty consistent amount of rain where most of the farms are located, like in the Central Valley in California, which farming pleasurable and much easier than with tons of snow each winter.

3. In the east, there is tons of snow during the winter, which, as I said previously, can make farming extremely difficult. The midwest is where most farms could be found because of the sunny weather and consistent yet pleasing amounts of rain.
