Blog Question

1. Chemistry fits into the science family because the subject of science relates to daily life and so chemistry gives learners a better understanding of how chemicals are incorperated into our daily lives. So far we have learned how much water is used everyday in our houses and I already have a clearer understanding of the huge amount of water being purified and brought to our homes. Now that we have completed the Foul Water Experiment, I understand the difficulty and time consuming task of cleaning the water that we all take for granted everyday.

2. I think that having a lack of water is worse than having polluted water. Even though polluted water may not be our first choice to drink, it is much better than no water at all. As humans, we need water to survive. Having a lack of water reduces many things that contribute to our daily lives. With polluted water, it can always be filtered and cleaned, although it may take some time to have this procedure done. With less water, our daily lives would become all about distributing and planning the amount of water to effectively meet our needs.

3. Global warming and air pollution change the chemicals in the air and water, as well as foods, making the three things unhealthy and sometimes poisonouos. For this reason, chemists and other scientists, environmentalists, and health and food companies, are trying to find ways to extracts the bad chemicals, keeping the things around us, healthy.
