Blog Question
To do a solution concentration problem, you can use percent by mass which means you would take the mass of solute and divide it by the mass of the solution. After that, you would multiply it by 100. Another way to solve these problems is to figure out the proportion of what the solution and solute would be if there was 100 grams of water being used. The tricky part is figuring out the fraction of the substance in the solution.
